Causes of water leak
i
If the camera is used in any of the following conditions, a gap may appear
between the camera body and the battery cover or terminal cover, resulting
in water seeping in and causing the camera to malfunction.
h
When there is foreign matter, such as lint, hair, sand, etc., between the
battery cover or terminal cover and the camera body.
h
When the rubber seal has deteriorated.
h
When the lock on the battery cover and/or terminal cover is not closed.
k
Care of the camera after using underwater
1
With the battery cover and
terminal cover closed, rinse
the camera with water; or, if it
was used in the sea, soak it in
a shallow container filled with
fresh water for about 10
minutes.
h
Leaving the camera with
foreign objects or saline
matter on it may cause
damage, discoloration,
corrosion, unusual odor, or
deterioration.
The camera must be cleaned after it has been used underwater.
i
Rinse the camera in water, and do not open the battery cover or
terminal cover until all sand and dust have been removed.
i
Do not soak the camera in water for more than 60 minutes.
