Using function buttons with touch operations
[Fn6], [Fn7], [Fn8], [Fn9], and [Fn10] are used by touching function buttons.

Touch [Fn6], [Fn7], [Fn8], [Fn9] or [Fn10].
•
The assigned function will operate.
•
Some functions cannot be used depending on the mode or displayed screen.
•
When set to [Focus Area Set], it is possible to display the position setting screen of either AF
area or MF Assist.
•
When [1 Shot RAW+JPG] is set, it will record the RAW file and a fine JPEG image
simultaneously once only. It will return to original quality after recording.
•
When [1 Shot Spot Metering] is set, it will record with [Metering Mode] set to [
] (spot) once
only. It will return to original Metering Mode after recording.
•
Operations of the cursor button, [MENU/SET], and the control dial are disabled when [Cursor
Button Lock] is set. Press the function button again to enable them.
•
When [Restore to Default] is set, function button settings return to the default configuration.
Not available in these cases:
•
[Fn4] cannot be used in the following cases.

Intelligent Auto Mode
–
Intelligent Auto Plus Mode
–
Creative Control Mode
–
When using [Multi Exp.]
•
[Fn1] cannot be used during Time Lapse Shooting.
•
[Fn6], [Fn7], [Fn8], [Fn9], and [Fn10] cannot be used when the viewfinder is in use.
