Using the Playback Zoom

Rotate the zoom lever towards

] to enlarge the picture.
• When you rotate the zoom lever
towards [
] after the picture is
enlarged, the magnification becomes
lower. When you rotate the zoom lever
towards [
], the magnification
becomes higher.
• When you change the magnification,
the zoom position indication

for about 1 second to check the position
of the section enlarged.
• When you press the [MENU] button, the
magnification reverts to 1

Shift the picture.
• When you move the position to be
displayed, the zoom position indication
is displayed for about 1 second.

To delete a picture during playback
zoom
Press the [

When the confirmation screen appears,

to select [YES], and press

• The more the picture is enlarged, the
more its quality deteriorates.
• The playback zoom may not operate if
pictures have been recorded with other
equipment.
• Even if the indications on the screen are
turned off in normal playback mode (P24),
the magnification and enabled operations
appear on the screen when the playback
zoom is activated.
• You can switch whether you turn the
indications on the LCD monitor on or off
by pressing the [DISPLAY] button.
When you set the magnification to 1
