2. Getting Started - Connecting the external monitor

It is recommended to use a double shielded BNC cable equivalent to 5C-FB.

Use a high speed HDMI cable (Type A - Type A plug) that is compatible with 4K and has an HDMI logo.

You can output via HDMI and SDI at the same time. You can also connect to either “LUMIX Tether” or “LUMIX Sync” at
the same time.
●
If you do not have an external monitor or external recorder, you can watch the live view while remotely controlling the
camera by connecting a PC that has the “LUMIX Tether” software installed to the camera. (

Attaching the Cable Lock Band
Use of the supplied cable lock band prevents detachment of the cable and damage to the terminals.

Put the camera on a stable surface to perform this task.

Loosely mount the cable lock band to the cable lock band mount on the camera, and
then rotate the screws in the direction of the arrows to secure the cable lock band.

Connect the AC adaptor, the HDMI cable and the USB connection cable to the camera.

Fit the AC mains lead to the clamp.

Fit the HDMI cable and USB connection cable to the clamp.
