12. Remote Operations - [LAN / Wi-Fi Setup] menu
[LAN / Wi-Fi Setup] menu
This configures the settings required for the wired LAN / Wi-Fi function. The settings cannot be changed when connected to
wired LAN / Wi-Fi.

Cannot be set during connection via USB.
[IP Address Setting (LAN)]
Set the IP address for wired LAN connection. You can select whether to
automatically assign an IP address using a DHCP or to set any fixed IP
address.
[DHCP Server]:
Select this to connect the camera as a DHCP server (default setting).
[DHCP Client]:
Select this to connect the camera as a DHCP client.
[Static IP Address]:
Select this to connect using the IP address set in [Static IP Address Setting].
[Static IP Address Setting]:
You can set IP address used for [Static IP Address].
[IP Address]: The default setting is <192.168.0.2>.
[Subnet Mask]: The default setting is <255.255.255.0>.
[Default Gateway]: The default setting is <192.168.0.1>.

Set the IP address, subnet mask, and default gateway with the correct
combination.

For details about DHCP settings or settings of a fixed IP address, contact
the administrator of the network you are using.

If you changed the setting of [IP Address Setting (LAN)], turn the camera
off and then on again.
[Wi-Fi Password]
You can use a password to connect for enhanced security. (

Password Authentication to Connect
[LAN / Wi-Fi Function Lock]
To prevent incorrect operation and use of the wired LAN / Wi-Fi function by a
third party and to protect personal information in the camera and included with
images, protect the wired LAN / Wi-Fi function with a password.
[Setup]:
Enter any 4-digit numbers as the password.

[Cancel]:
Cancel the password.

Once a password is set, you are required to enter it each time you use the
wired LAN / Wi-Fi function.

If you forget your password, you can use [Reset] in the [Setup] ([Setting])
menu to reset the network settings and thereby reset the password.
[Network Address Display (LAN)]
Displays the MAC address and IP address of the camera during wired LAN
connection.
[Network Address Display (Wi-Fi)]
Displays the MAC address and IP address of the camera during Wi-Fi
connection.
