This indicator is displayed continuously when the floppy disk drive is being accessed.
This indicator is displayed continuously when the hard disk drive is being accessed
or the computer is in the hibernation mode.
This indicator is displayed continuously when the PD/CD drive is being accessed.
This indicator is displayed continuously when a CD is loaded.
Lights if a password has been set, and immediately after the computer is powered
off or is in the suspend or hibernation mode.
This indicator will go off if the reset button is pressed or if the battery pack and
AC adaptor are disconnected from the computer for 5 minutes or more.
Flashes on and off when the computer is in the password input standby mode.
Please input the password and press the enter key.
Indicates the power output level.
The more drops that appear, the greater the power output.
This indicator is not displayed when the system is powered off or the AC adaptor
is not connected, in the suspend or hibernation mode or in the password input
standby mode.
Indicates the remaining capacity of the battery pack. (This indicator is displayed
even when the system indicator is switched off, so long as the AC adaptor is
connected.)
The remaining power indicator flashes when the battery is low.
The borders of the indicator flashes on and off if no battery pack is mounted. An
error code is displayed if a battery malfunction occurs.

indicator is also displayed continuously in the hiber-
nation mode.)

MEMO
All of the status LCD indicators flash once when the computer is turned on.
If the battery temperature rises significantly due to a large discharge caused by a large load (overload),
a beep sounds and the letters "
" flash on and off.
Continuing to use the computer in this state can render the battery unusable and result in a shutdown.
To prevent this from happening, connect the AC adaptor, and reduce the load on the battery by turning
off the power to the PD/CD drive, or other devices.
These indicators show the keyboard status. The appropriate indicator is displayed
continuously when the corresponding key is active.
