Or, one Type I/II and one Type III card (1.8-inch hard disk drive, etc.) can
be inserted; the Type III card can only be inserted into the bottom slot.
Up to two Type I/II (thickness: 5 mm (0.197 inch) or less) cards can be
inserted.
In order to use PC cards, the appropriate PC card device drivers must be installed.

Make sure that the combined operating current of the PC cards does not exceed the maximum
allowable current of the card slots. If the output current limit (3.3 V: 400 mA, 5 V: 400 mA, 12
V: 120 mA) is exceeded, malfunction may result.
Dummy cards are in the PC card slots at the time of purchase. To install a PC card into a slot,
first remove the dummy card in that slot. Also, if you remove the PC card at a later time,
replace the dummy card.
Only the bottom slot can support a Zoomed Video (ZV) card. A Zoomed Video card can be
used only when CardWorks software is installed.
NOTE
PC Cards
The PC card slots accept PC cards that conform to the PC card standard.
Removal
Select [Start]-[Settings]-[Control Panel]-[PC Card]-[Socket
Status].
Select a PC card to remove, and then click [Stop].

Press the PC card eject button once to cause the button to
pop out.

Press the button a second time to cause the PC card to pop
out part way.
Pull the PC card the rest of the way out.
Insert the dummy card.
Remove the dummy card.
Insert the PC card, label side up, until it snaps into place.
