Removal
With the label facing up, insert the battery pack into the com-
puter until it clicks into place.
press and slide the bottom button to the direction indicated.

Always switch the computer off and disconnect the AC adaptor before replacing the battery
pack.
If the computer is in the suspend mode, the system data will be preserved for a maximum of 3
minutes when the battery pack is removed. Make sure to attach the new battery pack within
this time.
NOTE
If the power stored in the battery pack reaches a low level while the computer is
being run off the battery pack, the battery indicator lights red and repeated beeps
sound from the speakers. Should this occur, either immediately connect the AC adaptor
or replace the battery pack with a fully charged one.
The battery pack is a consumable item. If the amount of time the computer can be
run off a particular battery pack becomes dramatically shorter, and repeated
rechargings do not restore its performance, the battery pack should be replaced with
a new one (part number: CF-VZS611).
Pull out the battery pack.
