8. Setting of menu items
Be sure to ask your dealer to carry out the operations described in
this chapter for you.
Setting3
This is the item selection screen for the Setting3 menu.
When the cursor is brought to the “Setting3” menu title and
the jog dial is pressed, the display returns to the Operation
menu at the next hierarchical level above.

MONO SW: Output image monochrome setting
Select this to set the images to be output from the HD/SD
SDI OUT1 to 4, ANA COMPOSITE OUT1 and 2 and
WFM OUT connectors to monochrome.
Selection options: ON, OFF

HD BAR Select: HD colour bar selection
Use this to select the colour bar signals to be output from
the HD/SD SDI OUT1 to 4 connectors (when HD is set)
when BAR has been selected on the operation panel of
the ROP or MSU.
Selection options: STD, SMPTE, ARIB, EIAJ, SPLIT

LPF: LPF setting for colour bars
Use this to select the filter through which are to be
passed the colour bar signals that are output from the
HD/SD SDI OUT1 to 4 connectors when BAR has been
selected on the operation panel of the ROP or MSU.
A higher TAP value will ensure a smooth rise and fall
of the waveforms and reduce both the overshoot and
undershoot.
Selection options: OFF, 3TAP, 5TAP, 7TAP, 9TAP

User1: Colour bar User1 setting
Select this to set the user range 1 when ARIB has been
selected as the HD BAR Select setting.
Selection options: 75%WHITE, 100%WHITE,
+I_SIGNAL, –I_SIGNAL

User2: Colour bar User2 setting
Select this to set the user range 2 when ARIB has been
selected as the HD BAR Select setting.
Selection options: 0%BLACK, +Q_SIGNAL

SD BAR Select: SD colour bar selection
Use this to select the colour bar signals to be output
from the HD/SD SDI OUT1 to 4 (when SD is set), ANA
COMPOSITE OUT1 and 2 and WFM OUT connectors
when BAR has been selected on the operation panel of
the ROP or MSU.
Selection options: STD (selectable when the CCU MODE
item setting in the Setting1 menu is set
to 1080/50i(50i)), SMPTE, EIAJ, SPLIT

C/B Setup Add:
SD signal output selection for D/C colour bar output
Select either analogue composite or SDI to be used for
SD signal output when the D/C colour bar is output.

When “1080/50i (50i)” has been selected as the setting
for the CCU Mode item on the Setting 1 menu, this item
is made invalid and cannot be selected.

Setup 7.5%: Setup 7.5 % level setting
Use this to select whether to add the setup 7.5 % level
to the SD signals that are to be output from the ANA
COMPOSITE OUT1 and 2 connectors as well as the
WFM OUT connector.
Selection options: ON, OFF

When “1080/50i (50i)” has been selected as the setting
for the CCU Mode item on the Setting 1 menu, this item
is made invalid and cannot be selected.

Patho: Pathological signal setting
Use this to set the pathological signals to ON or OFF.
The signals output from the HD/SD SDI OUT1 to 4
connectors (when HD is set) serve as the pathological
signals.
Selection options: ON, OFF
