Recognizing Character
252. Character Height Max.
−
255.Character Width Min.
This is the parameter for the separate processing.
The size of characters (images) registered in a dictionary is used.
If the registered characters are different from the characters to be read
in size, you can change the size by enclosing the recognition area.
Select the parameter you want to set and select “Frame Setting” to
designate the area.
256. Separate Level
Select “Middle” (default setting) or “Low”.
When separating “L” from “E” as shown in the
figure, 2) and 3) might be separated, too. If 2)
is separated, “L” is cut into pieces, resulting
in possibly miss
−
recognizing as “I” and “_”. In
that case, select “Low” for the separate level.
2.
Setting the Recognition Conditions
1.
Setting the dictionary number (CHARA.RECOG.
→
Checker setting
→
Dictionary No.)
Select among 1 to 5 the dictionary to be used. The message below will be
displayed.
Select YES, so that the segmentation condition set in the dictionary registered
is copied.
Later on, you can adjust the settings of the segmentation conditions.
Refer to section “7.4.3” for details about segmentation conditions.
2.
Setting Recognition Lower Limits (00 to 99)
Set the lower limits values of the recognition value for recognizing characters
from 00 to 99. If the recognition values exceeding the set values can NOT be
obtained in the characters in the selected dictionary, it is judged that the
character is NOT recognized.
