BEFORE YOU BEGIN
The name of the
SIM toolkit application varies depending on
your network operator. Contact your
network operator for the SIM toolkit
application name.
1 Press Home , and then press
Centre .
2 Select Applications ., and then
select More .
3 Select the SIM toolkit application.
What are all those
icons?
You can monitor the status of several
items using icons at the top of your Home
screen:
You missed an incoming call.
You have a voicemail message.
You have a new text,
multimedia, or email message.
You have a new text message.
You have a new instant
message.
No SIM card is inserted.
There is a problem reading the
SIM card.
The ringer on your phone is off.
Your phone is on. The bars
display the signal strength.
The stronger the signal, the
more bars that appear.
Your phone is on but there is no
signal.
Your phone is on but you are in
an area where there is no
service, or the SIM card is locked
and you have exceeded the
number of tries permitted to
unlock the SIM card (see Locking
the SIM card).
Your phone is off.
