1. Move to the selected motion detector camera.
2. Move to the
On/Off
field and select either
On
or
Off
.
NOTE: Changing On/Off on the title bar applies the change to all cameras.
Set up Motion Detection Sensitivity
3. Move to the
Sensitivity
field and press
ENTER
. The sensitivity may be adjusted in five
steps (1 to 5). Higher numbers result in more sensitivity.
4. Move to the
Min. Size
field and press
ENTER
. The minimum size refers to the minimum
number of detective blocks. Lower numbers result in more sensitivity.
Set up Motion Detection Zone
5. Move to the
Zone
field and press
ENTER
, the video monitor will display a full screen
window with predefined blocks defined as the motion zone.
•
The minimum motion zone is defined by four individual block units. The zone block is
positioned within the video using the front panel arrow buttons.
•
Each block segment of the zone block (in four block segments) is selected/released using
the front panel camera buttons.
NOTE: Each block segment is used for only zone block setup. The entire block
surrounding individual detectors will be sensitive when the detector is turned on.
6. The following functions may be selected after pressing

Close this menu:
Closes the menu, but remains in full screen view.
•
Select Current 4 Blocks:
Sets the current four blocks for motion detection zone.
•
Clear Current 4 Blocks:
Releases the current four blocks from motion detection zone.
•
Select All Blocks:
Sets all blocks for motion detection zone
•
Clear All Blocks:
Releases all blocks from motion detection zone.
•
Reverse All Blocks:
Reverses the settings for all blocks.
•
Exit Zone Setup:
Select this menu to finish the setup and close the
Motion Detection
Zone Setup
dialog box. When selecting this menu, a dialog box will be presented to
confirm the save
option of the motion zone if changes occurred.
7. Move to the
View
field and press
ENTER
to preview the captured image. Press
ENTER
again or press
MENU
to exit the preview mode.
