Allow the engine to warm up at low rpm.
WARNING
Keep your distance from the chain, as it will start to rotate as soon as
the engine starts.
Checking the oil supply
After starting the engine, you should leave the chain to
run at moderate speed and see if the chain oil spreads
out as shown in the diagram.
The flow of oil can be adjusted by inserting a screwdriver
in the hole in the bottom of the coupling side. Adjust the
flow so that it suits the working conditions.
NOTICE: The oil tank will be almost empty when the fuel tank is empty. Ensure
that you replenish the oil in the machine every time that you replenish the
machine with fuel.
Adjusting the carburettor
The carburettor is set at the factory but if necessary, it can be finely adjusted to suit
the operating conditions. To adjust the carburettor, ensure that the air and fuel filters
are clean and new and that the fuel mix is correct.
To adjust:
NOTICE: Ensure that the chain is fitted when the carburettor is being set.
