Maintenance
WARNING
Before cleaning, inspecting or repairing the chainsaw, ensure that the
engine has been switched off and has cooled down. Remove the spark
plug to prevent the engine from starting unintentionally.
Maintenance after use
Air filter
Dust on the filter surface can be removed by tapping a corner of the filter on a hard
surface. To remove dust from the filter’s masks, separate the air filter into two halves
and clean with petrol. If you use compressed air, blow from the inside.
To assemble the two filters halves, press the edges together until they click together.
NOTICE: To install the main filter, make sure that the grooves on the filter edge
are aligned correctly with the protruding parts on the cylinder cover.
Oiling port
Remove the guide bar and check if the oiling port is clogged.
Guide bar
With the guide bar removed, remove any sawdust in the guide bar groove and the
oiling port. Lubricate the tip of the chain sprocket from the grease port at the tip of
the bar.
