FlashBack-3
Covert Video Recorder
User Guide
7.7.2
Motion Trigger
Enables internal motion detection and allows you to set the minimum record time after
motion has been detected, the detection threshold and detection zones.
Figure 19: Motion Trigger Example
In the example above, the Motion Duration setting
causes the FlashBack-3 to record for 10 seconds
after motion is detected. During this period, the
timer is reset each time subsequent motion is seen
(i.e. the record time is always at least 10 seconds).
By default, motion in any part of the image is used,
however, best results are achieved by masking the
area of interest by clicking individual cells to enable
/ disable motion detection. Clear cells are where
motion detection is active, red cells inactive. When
selection is complete, click the
[Apply]
button to save the setting.
The Motion Threshold sets the amount of motion required in order to raise a trigger. The
higher the Motion Threshold; the more motion activity required to trigger the FlashBack-3.
After adjustment click the corresponding
[S]
button to store.
NB
►
A snapshot of the alarm event can be automatically stored and shown in the Alarm
Page and the FindMe Timeline. Alarm snapshots are enabled by the “A/V Setups”
page in the “Video Setup”, Section 7.6, page 22.
7.7.3
Audio Trigger
Audio Detection operates in a similar manner to video. The higher the audio threshold value
the fewer triggers. The default audio threshold is -12dB and after adjustment click the
corresponding
[S]
button to store.
