7.7 Basic Trigger Page
This page controls various ways to control when the unit wakes up or records, such as
timers, motion detection, audio detection etc

7.7.1
Timer Triggers
The two internal timers allow you to set the unit to record (or wake up ready to record) at
certain times of the day on certain days of the week. If you enable a Timer, you are
presented with options to enable days of the week, start time and duration (see below).

In the above example, the timer is set up to record from 9 am to 5 pm on weekdays. It is
also possible to just "Wakeup" the unit during the timer period so the unit is ready to record
under control of the external control inputs or internal motion detection. Once you have set
the timer, use the
[Activate]
button to enable the trigger and, if required, click
[Goto Sleep]
put the FlashBack-3 into standby until the first timer event.
The "Custom" timer mode is where the action(s) of the timer are beyond just "Record" or
"Wakeup" and set by the Expert Trigger page.
