Troubleshooting

Cleaning and Care

   ATTENTION:

   

Do not immerse the device in the water!

•   Disconnect the power plug before cleaning.

•   Clean the housing, control panel and controls with a soft cloth that you lightly with a mild

  Have moistened cleaning solution. Do not use abrasives, scouring pads or solvents like alcohol or gasoline.

•   Make sure that no dust gets on the laser lens.

Notes on CDs

•   Clean the CD with a cleaning cloth before playing. Wipe from the center to the outside.

•   Do not use solvents such as benzene or thinner and no commercial cleaning agents or

  Anti-static sprays for vinyl records.

•   Do not expose the CD to direct sunlight or heat sources such as hot air outlets. To let

  Do not leave them in a car parked in the sun, because the temperatures inside the car can rise very high.

•   Do not stick paper or stickers on the CD and do not scratch the surface of the CD.

•   Always keep a CD in its case after playback. Scratches, dirt or fingerprints on the CD may lead to tracking errors.

•   This player can play CD-Rs / CD-RWs with MP3 format files. The playback options depend on the quality of the CD and   

  the condition of the recording device.

Music CDs with copyright protection coding

•   This product is designed to play CDs that comply with the Compact Disc standard (CD). Recently, some record companies  

  are launching music CDs with copy protection technologies. Please note that some of these CDs may not conform to    

  the CD standard and may not be playable with this product.

Solution

The pow er cord is not plugged in.

Connect the device to the back of the device w ith the pow er cable and plug it 
into a pow er socket.

There are no batteries inserted.

Insert batteries into the battery compartment at the bottom of the device.

V olume too low .

A djust the volume w ith V OL-V OL +.

Output blocked.

Disconnect the headphones from the device (PHONES) if you w ant to play 
through speakers.

MP3 file
damaged.

Make sure the MP3 file is ok.

Batteries

Insert new  batteries or operate the device w ith the pow er cord.

Device can not be 
controlled

Device blocked "hang on"

Disconnect the pow er plug for approx. 5 seconds. Then sw itch the device on 
again.

CD is not or not correct inserted.

Make sure the disc is labeled w ith the label up
directed.

Batteries too w eak.

Insert new  batteries or operate the device w ith the pow er cord.

Incorrect file format or CD not burned 
correctly.

Check if your CD-R / -RW w as burned correctly as a music CD,
or check if your MP3 files are formatted correctly.

CD jumps during 
playback.

Check the disc to fingerprints, dirt or 
scratches.

Clean it w ith a soft cloth from the middle.

Noise can be heard

The device is blocked by other 
devices.

A  cell phone or other device that generates radio w aves is used near the 
player. Use the mobile phone etc. at a greater distance from the player.

There is no sound to be 
heard

Music Playback from
