   NOTE:

  

Only one player can be connected to the device at a time. If the device is already connected to another player, the device will not    

   

appear in the BT selection menu.

   

• If you have problems with logging in a player, disable the Wi-Fi / Mobile data function in your player.

   

• Bluetooth compatibility can not be guaranteed for future playback devices (eg mobile phones).

   

• To ensure an optimal connection, make sure that the battery of your player is fully charged.

USB-Playback

This device has been developed according to the latest state of technical developments in the USB field. The size

Unfortunately, the number of different USB storage devices offered today does not allow for full compatibility with all USB 

storage devices. Because of this, you may experience problems playing USB storage media in rare cases. This is not a 

malfunction of the device. Please only use commercially available USB sticks.

1. Insert a USB storage medium directly into the USB port.

2. Select the USB mode with the MODE button [19]. "- - - -" appears in the display.

3. After a few seconds, playback will start automatically.

For operation, please refer to the section "Description of the control buttons".

  

   NOTE:

•  

For technical reasons, only 9999 songs can be displayed. However, if there are more songs on the USB stick, they will still play.

•  

Always connect a USB storage device directly to the USB port to prevent any malfunctions.

•  

The USB port is not suitable for charging external devices.

•  

Please note: The USB connection is only for music playback of USB sticks. It can only be one Low power (100 mA) power supply

CD-Playback

1.  Switch the device to CD mode "CD" using the 

MODE

 button

 or the remote control 

[B]

.

  If no CD is inserted in the CD compartment

, "NO" appears in the display

2.  Open the CD compartment 

[3]

 by lifting the cover over the opening OPEN / CLOSE 

[5]

.

3.  Place a CD with the label facing upwards on the centering cone so that the CD engages mechanically and

  then close the CD compartment cover 

[5]

.

4.  The display 

[10]

 shows after a few seconds the total number of songs on the CD. Thereafter, the first title is played  

 

 immediately.

 

IMPORTANT NOTE:

 

Play CDs and CDRs in MP3 format!

 

This device is MP3 capable!

5. To remove a CD, press the STOP button 

[8]

 on the unit, or on the remote control 

[I]

, open the CD compartment and gently  

  lift the CD. Always keep the lid closed!

   HINWEIS:

    

If a disc is inserted the wrong way round or if no disc is inserted, the message "- -" and "NO" flashes appears on the display.

   

Please note:

BT-Wireless Playback

This device allows you to use a Bluetooth enabled device. The functional radius is limited depending on the spatial conditions 

and the device used to about 8 meters.

Coupling devices (pairing)

Before you can listen to music through the device, you must register the devices with each other.

1.  Make sure that the BT feature is enabled in your player (eg mobile phone). Please observe the operating instructions of   

  your player.

2.  Switch the Outmark BAIO to 

BT mode "bt"

 via the 

MODE

 button 

[19] 

or the remote control 

[B]

.

  The mode is confirmed by a voice output.

3.  Select the BT menu in your player and register the device in your player.

  Please observe the operating instructions of your player. The selection will be "BAIO" in your player.

4.  If the registration was successful, it will be confirmed by a short beep on the device. The further procedure can be found  

  in the operating instructions of the player. If possible, adjust the volume of the player to an audible level.

5.  You can also control music playback using the Play / Pause, Forward, Backward, and Stop buttons on the unit or the    

  remote control.
