HEADPHONE jack

For connecting headphones or earphones, or external speakers

1.  Use function selector

 to select one of the following modes: CD - USB - BT - RADIO

2.  Connect the external output device (for example a headphone) with a 3.5 mm stereo jack plug to the

  PHONES socket

 on.

3.  Start playback in the mode you have selected. You can now enjoy playback via the external output device. You can  

 

  adjust  the volume with the volume control

or the VOL + / VOL [L] buttons on the remote control.

   ATTENTION:

   

Setting the volume too high can cause hearing damage when playing headphones or earphones!

Description of the control buttons on the device

  MODE KEY [19]

•  

Use this button to select between the following modes: CD - USB - AUX - BT - RADIO

  PLAY / PAUSE BUTTON [12]

•   Short press:

 

You can pause the playback briefly and start again. The display flashes. Repeatedly pressing the button resumes playback  

  in the same place.

  JUMP FORWARD [13]

•  

Use this button to skip to the next or next track, etc. Press and hold the button Music search.

  BACK JUMPING [7]

•  

You can operate this button as follows:

  Press briefly once = jump to the previous track.

  Press briefly twice = play a song in front of it, etc.

  Hold down the button to start a music search.

  STOP BUTTON [8]

  ON / OFF / REPEAT BUTTON [15]

Listen to the Radio

1.  Switch the device to FM radio mode using the 

MODE

 button

or the remote control [B].

  The display

briefly shows "rad", then the current frequency.

2.  Pull out the telescopic antenna

 on the back of the device completely. Change their position to improve reception.

3.  There are two ways to search for stations: For a manual search, turn the Tuning control

 to set the desired frequency   

  or use the automatic search with the enclosed remote control using the SCAN 

[D]

 button.

4.  You can save up to 20 radio frequencies. To select the memory locations, press the buttons Back 

[7] 

or Forward

 on   

  the device during radio operation or the buttons CH + 

[H]

 or CH- 

[J]

 on the remote control.

 

  Station memory on the device:

  Search for the appropriate frequency, which you want to save and then hold the Press the ON / OFF / REP button

  on the device for at least 3 seconds. The next available station memory is shown on the display

. Now use the back   

 button

or the forward button

 to select the desired memory location. To confirm the memory, please press again

  ON / OFF / REP button

 for at least 3 seconds. The frequency is now saved.

 

  Storing stations via remote control:

  Use the SCAN 

[D]

 key on the remote control to find the frequency you want to save and then press the PROG 

[K]

 key.    

  Now use the CH +

 [H]

 or CH-

 [J]

 keys to select the desired memory location and press 

PROG

 again to store the  

 

 frequency.

AUX IN / PC jack

For connecting external playback devices such. As MP3 player, smartphone, tablet PC, etc.

1.  Select the AUX mode via the function selection

2.  Connect the external device to the AUX IN jack

with a 3.5mm stereo jack plug.

3.  Start playback on your audio source. Through the speakers, you can hear the sound from the external device. You can    

  adjust the volume using the volume control

 or the VOL + / VOL 

[L]

 buttons on the remote control. The control buttons  

  on the device are not functional.

4.  For the further procedure, please refer to the operating instructions of the external sound source.

  

   NOTE:

   

Set the volume of the external device to an audible level.
