Drill a 5 mm hole (for M4) for the 502E3 welding
nut. Drill a 6.5 mm hole for M5.
NOTICE
Damage due to wrong positioning of bore-
holes.
Make sure that no material is ripped
out during drilling. Only use sharp tools.
INFORMATION
Always drill one hole after the other and press
in the welding nut; screw on the shell compo-
nent and check the position of the remaining
bore holes.
File bore holes by hand or on a machine with
countersink (726S9=90x11.5).
NOTICE
Damage due to wrong tools.
Do not use a
twist drill for deflashing. Use a counterbore
to deflash boreholes.
Press in welding nuts.
2.3 Final assembly
Screw together carbon fiber spring with the pro-
vided 501S86 Niro Countersunk Head Screw
and the provided 507U9 Rosette Washers. The
rosette washers prevent you from pressing the
screws into the polypropylene and ensures that
there is a large contact surface.
INFORMATION
Making slotted holes on the lower leg part
permits its mounting in a moveable way.
