Spectrometer calibration
Calibration is a procedure for calculating main spectrometer parameters and comparing
them with the values specified by the manufacturer. Calibration confirms that the device can
be used as an infrared spectrum measuring tool. The device is calibrated while commissioning,
after a repair, an upgrade, and periodically at least once every two years. Use the
Calibration
command in the
Recording
menu or the toolbar button. The procedure is performed in the
Master
mode and consists of five steps. Note that you may take measurements in any order.
In case of unsatisfactory parameter measurements, you can go to the previous step (buttons
Back
and
Next
) and repeat them. If you skip a measurement, the relevant fields in the
calibration protocol will remain empty.
Enter the air condition data at the first step (the thermometer and barometer readings),
and the mains voltage, then visual inspection results:
