Enable audio here to encode audio from available sources.

Select “MIC” when using a powered/amplified

CODEC
Select the codec to be used for the audio encode.
Options are AAC Low Complexity, AAC High Complexity, AACLC Mpeg2, and AAC HE2.
BIT RATE
Target bitrate for audio encode. The bitrate range for AACLC is 12-384 Kbps. 64 Kbps or higher is recommended.
Bitrate range for AACHE and HE V2 is 32-64 Kbps.
SAMPLE RATE
Select the audio sample rate.
48k, 44.1k and 32k are available.
PID
Audio PID for transport streams. Range is 0-8191. Default is 120.
MAX PTS-PCR
Maximum difference between the PTS and PCR in the audio stream. It is generally recommended to leave this
value at 250. Certain decoders may require a value similar to the video delay. If an issue is encountered with a
specific decoder, try setting this value to the same value as the video delay.
