CONFIGURING ENCODER FOR RTMP/RTMPS
Talon PRO supports H.264 streaming to an RTMP streaming server. Osprey Video
is a member of the Wowza
Media Systems™ Technology Alliance partner program, and the Wowza Streaming Engine™ is used here
as an example.
Return to the Web UI.
Select CH1, CH2 or CH3.
Ensure that the selected
encoder shows a status of “STOPPED”
If necessary, click on the “Stop” button in the “Channel Controls” section of the user interface CH1 tab or
the “Stop All” button in the lower right corner of the screen of any tab.
Select the “Output” ribbon.
Set
“Outp
ut Transport
” to “RTMP
or RTMPS
.”
The “Dest Address” textbox should be formatted as “IP_address:port/application” where the IP address
is the address of the PC with the Wowza server installed. Port refers to the port used on this PC. The
