4. MENU QUICK REFERENCE
Figures 29 and 30 show the menu tree for the Micro-Detective-HX software application. The
menu items that are not password-protected are shown in Fig. 29. The password-protected items,
on the Comm and Advanced menus, are shown in Fig. 30. The menus in these figures are drawn
with solid lines. The boxes with dashed lines briefly indicate the screen or action associated with
the various menu items.
General notes:

To choose a menu item, press or tap the N button to move the reverse-video highlight to the
desired item, then press or tap the S button. Alternatively, you can tap the menu item directly.

A password is required to access the Comm and Advanced menus. See Numerical Entries
(page 7).

A checkmark ( ) beside a menu item (such as audio and vibration alarms, alarm volume, and
the display options) indicates an option that is enabled. To toggle the option on and off, press
or tap the N button to highlight the item, then press or tap S. Alternatively, you can tap the
menu item directly.

An ellipsis ( ) beside a menu item (e.g., Password..., Dose Rate...) indicates that you must
enter numerical data using the number pad.
