6.1. Acoustic earthing prevention alarm
[15]
Incompatible with use of
ekor
.ivds
units
The
ekor
.sas acoustic alarm unit is associated with the
ekor
.vpis live voltage indicator and with the earth shaft
actuator. The alarm is activated when there is voltage in the
functional unit's medium-voltage feeder and the lever is
inserted in the earthing switch shaft. A sound then indicates
that a short-circuit or zero voltage may occur in the network
if the operation is carried out.
Operation of the unit is assured within the same operating
range as the
ekor
.vpis unit associated with it

6.2. Interlocks
The switchgear is provided with interlocks, which ensure
the following conditions:
1.
The switch-disconnector and the earthing switch
cannot both be closed at the same time.
2.
The cubicles have an interlock which prevents access
to the medium-voltage cable compartment unless
the earthing switch is closed. In normal operation, this
earthing disconnector cannot be opened if the cable
compartment cover is not in place.
6.2.1. Locking with a padlock
Each actuating shaft can be locked with a maximum of three
standardised padlocks, with a minimum shackle diameter
of 7 mm and a maximum of 8 mm.
