Chapter 4 Installation
4.1 Tools Required for Installation

Terminals (a PC running terminal program can be used)

4.2 Installing the Main Control Module
All GT48 modules are hot-swappable. Installation and maintenance is very easy. Just Please follow the
procedure below:
Step 1: Turn the two thumb screws of the blank face plate covering the slot housing the Main Control Module
counter clock-wise. Store the blank face plate away for later use.
Step 2: Slide GT48 Main Control Module along the guide rail into the chassis.
Step 3: Snap the Main Control Module on to the backplane in the chassis.
Step 4: Turn the two thumb screws clock-wise to secure the Main Control Module until they stops.
4.3 Installing the FXS Interface Module
Please follow the procedure below:
Step 1: Turn the two thumb screws of the blank face plate covering the slot housing the FXS Interface Module
counter clock-wise. Store the blank face plate away for later use.
Step 2: Slide the FXS Interface Module along the guide rail into the chassis.
Step 3: Snap the FXS Interface Module on to the backplane in the chassis.
Step 4: Turn the two thumb screws clock-wise to secure the FXS Interface Module until they stops.
4.4 Installing the Power Supply Module
Please follow the procedure when install the Power Supply Module.
Step 1: Turn the two thumb screws of the blank face plate covering the slot housing Power Supply Module
counter clock-wise. Store the blank face plate away for later use.
