Handling precautions
In order to prevent the instrument from malfunctioning, the instrument is
equipped with a chain protection device. However, some incorrect operation will
still cause the instrument to malfunction. To this end, in addition to strict
adherence to the operating procedures, you should also pay attention to the
following items:
1. The lens barrel isolation valve V1 must NEVER be opened until the vacuum
level has not met the requirements.
2. When the vacuum control mode is changed from manual to automatic, pay
special attention to whether each manual valve is closed.
3. Do not vent the power to the sample room and the electron gun immediately
after turning off the power of the electrical cabinet, so as to avoid residual high
voltage discharge on the electron gun detector and damage the filament and
the scintillator.
4. Do not plug in the printed board and wire plugs while the power is on.
5. If the lens barrel is not deflated, do not remove the objective light mast.
6. Always turn off the V1 valve before turning off the electrical cabinet
(CONSOLE POWER).
7. Do not manually activate the molecular pump and open the V1 valve while
the sample chamber is deflated.
8.The electron optical lens of the electron microscope has been pre-adjusted
to the optimum state before delivery, that is, there are small combined
mechanical tolerances and better alignment. When there is a problem
with the lens barrel, it can be repaired by the service personnel of the
manufacturer.

Sample chamber deflation
1. Deflate the sample chamber before placing or replacing samples. Before
deflation, turn off the high voltage, contrast and filament and close the
