IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety instructions
should always be followed, including the following:
1. Read all instructions carefully.
2. The motor unit cover of the multi cooker becomes very
hot during operation. Always use a handle and be care-
ful not to touch hot surfaces.
3. To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not immerse the
cord, the plug or the motor unit cover in water or any
other liquid.
4. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is
used by or near children. Unplug from the outlet when
not in use and before cleaning.
5. Never remove the plug from the outlet by pulling the
cord, as it may damage the cord.
6. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or
plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been
damaged in any manner.
7. Do not use outdoors. This multi cooker is intended for
home use only.
8. Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or
counter or touch hot surfaces.
9. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner or
in a heated oven.
10. Place on a heat-resistant surface. Do not place on plas-
tic, vinyl, lacquered wood or other inflammable sur-
faces.
11. Use extreme caution when moving the appliance if it
contains hot oil or any other hot liquid or when removing
hot grease.
12. Make sure the multi cooker is switched off before it is
plugged into or unplugged from the outlet.
13. Do not use the multi cooker for purposes other than
intended.
14. Always connect one end of the cord to the appliance
first, then plug the other end into the wall outlet. To dis-
connect, first switch the appliance off, then unplug
from the wall outlet.
15. To avoid the risk of fire, do not cover the multi cooker
or place it near inflammable materials, such as cur-
tains, drapes, walls etc.
16. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads to clean
the appliance.
17. Do not leave the multi cooker unattended during oper-
ation.
18. Do not use the multi cooker near inflammable or explo-
sive vapors.
19. This product is intended for household use only – not
for commercial or industrial use.
20. Do not use extension cords to connect the multi cook-
er to power supply.
21. During the first use allow the smoke to escape first.
Leave the motor unit operating for several minutes to
burn any excess grease used during production.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN COOKING
PREPARING YOUR TURBO OVEN
The Turbo Oven should be heated once before cooking with it.
While preparing the oven according to the following instruc-
tions, the oven will give off a slight burning odor. The oven
is actually burning off excess lubricants found in the oven’s
heating elements and will not harm you or the oven.
FOLLOW THESE EASY STEPS...
• Wipe the inside of the glass bowl with a damp sponge.
• Secure lid on oven.
• Set timer for 5 minutes.
• Set thermostat to 250
0
C and turn oven on.
(NOTE: HANDLE MUST BE PUSHED TO THE HORIZONTAL
POSITION TO TURN OVEN ON. WHEN HANDLE IS IN VERTI-
CAL POSITION, OVEN IS OFF).
