To make sure file deletion is permanent
1.
Right-click the Recycle Bin, and then click
Properties

Use one setting for all drives

Check the box labelled
Do not move files to the Recycle Bin

To specify standards and formats, the input language and the keyboard layout
1.
On the Control Panel, double-click
Regional and Language Options
.
2.
On the Regional Options tab, select a locale from the upper box to control how dates,
times, and numbers are displayed, e.g. English (United States).

On the Languages tab, click
Details
.
4.
On the Settings tab of the Text Services and Input Languages dialog, select the input
language and keyboard layout to be used (e.g. US, US).
To configure the Time Zone settings
1.
On the Control Panel, double-click
Date and Time
.
2.
On the Time Zone tab, select the required time zone (e.g. GMT+01 for Amsterdam).
