Eagle Operator Manual

Batch ticket feeder Batch tickets are placed here, for the machine to
automatically feed into the paper path during an extraction job.
Buffer Feeder To prevent gaps in throughput when the Eagle encounters
envelopes it cannot process, it first sends all acceptable pieces to a buffer
feeder. This allows it to make up for outsort rates of up to 15%.
The
Buffer Feeder Lever
on top allows you to disengage it. This can be useful
when clearing jams.
Content drop slot
This was designed to fill a role similar to the Content
Refeeder, but is not currently used.
Content refeeder
When running in one of the refeeder modes, the Eagle will
feed documents and checks from the content refeeder as opposed to feeding
envelopes from the main feeder.
Feed Conveyor Envelopes are loaded onto the conveyor belt. A sliding
metal plate called the
Cleaver
holds them upright and against the
Feeder
.
