Quick Start
Clicking the Quick Start link allows you to configure the basic settings required to get your router up and
running quickly. Usually, the only details you will need for the Quick Start wizard to get you online are your
login (often in the form of
username@ispname
), your password and the encapsulation type. Your ISP will be
able to supply all the details you need. In addition, you have the option to provide specific DNS as you desire,
or check the
Enable
box to get the DNS automatically from your ISP.

WAN
section of this manual.
If you have deleted the current WAN Connection in the
WAN – ISP
section of the interface, you can use the
router’s PVC Scan feature to attempt to determine the Encapsulation types offered by your ISP.
To Access The Auto Scan screen:
From any screen in the interface,

Click
Quick Start
from the menu list.

From
the
Quick Start
screen, click the
Auto Scan
button. The following appears:

Click
Start
to begin scanning for the encapsulation types offered by your ISP. If the scan is
successful you will then be presented with a list of supported options:
