Programming Console Operations
Section 7-2
7-2-25 Unsigned Decimal Data Modification
This operation is used to change the decimal value of a word being monitored
as unsigned decimal data, within a range of 0 to 65,535. A change into hexa-
decimal data is made automatically.
Words SR 253 to SR 255 cannot be changed.
!Caution
Before changing the contents of I/O memory, be sure that the changes will not
cause equipment to operate unexpectedly or dangerously. In particular, take
care when changing the status of output bits. The PLC continues to refresh I/
O bits even if the PLC is in PROGRAM mode, so devices connected to output
points on the CPU Board or Expansion I/O Boards may operate unexpectedly.

7-2-26 Force Set, Reset
This operation is used to force bits ON (force set) or OFF (force reset) and is
useful when debugging the program or checking output wiring. It is possible in
MONITOR or PROGRAM mode only.
