Hardware Arrangement
The coils and contacts in electromagnetic contacts and relays in an external circuit are sources of
noise. Do not install them close to the Box PC. Locate them at least 100 mm away from the Box PC.

Wire Layout for the Power Supply
Observe the following points when wiring the power supply system.
• Separate the Box PC power supply from the I/O device power supply and install a noise filter near
the Box PC power supply feed section.
• Use an isolating transformer to significantly reduce noise between the Box PC and the ground. In-
stall the isolating transformer between the Box PC power supply and the noise filter, and do not
ground the secondary coil of the transformer.
• Keep the wiring between the transformer and the Box PC as short as possible, twist the wires well,
and keep the wiring separate from high-voltage and power lines.
