8.7 Ethernet Port
The Ethernet Port located on the console is for advanced developers or integrators to have ease of
networking, viewing the system on HTML and controlling it remotely. The Sentry MK4 MFSS system can be
integrated into a local network without having the need of an external switch (E.g. PoE) when connected to the
Ethernet port. Here are the following steps to connect the system to HTML:
1. Plug in the LAN cable into the Ethernet port of the console.
2. Insert the other end of the LAN cable into the LAN port of your laptop.
3. Insert the power cable, HDMI and the USB cables into their respective ports of the console.
4. Go to your web browser and enter the following link: 172.16.9.200
8.8 HTML Login
When you access the Sentry MK4 MFSS system in HTML, you are required to enter the username and
password of the login page. The HTML view of the Sentry MK4 MFSS system is protected with a login page for
security purposes. The default username and password are as follows:
Username: Admin
Password: Password
The default IP address of the Ethernet port is 172.16.9.200.
If the operator has forgotten the username or password, a factory reset must be done on the console.
