Based on conducted experiments or calculations, similar to examples 1 and 2 speci
fi
ed in Appendix D, we
can determine:
• with normal pressure in the main line, voltage at the output of the sensor equals 2–2.5
V,
• with increasing pressure, which is necessary in order to lift the body, the voltage at the output
exceeds 3.5 V (and can reach 15 V and higher).
The following parameters must be preset in Omnicomm Con
fi
gurator:
Parameter
Value
Input type
Potential
Voltage threshold for actuation (V)
3.3
Pull-up resistor
NO
Inversion of potential signal
NO
Explanation:
• The threshold voltage is selected from a range of 2.5–3.5 V, closer to 3.5 V, but not close to the
extreme value to eliminate false positives.
• Pull-up resistor is disabled: as sensor sends the voltage signal, additional pull-up resistor will
increase the current via the sensor and will adversely a
ff
ect the measurement results.
Inversion of the signal is not required: the input voltage that is above the threshold corresponds to the
state of activation (logical “1”).
