When installing the antenna outside the vehicle, you must drill a hole for the wiring of the connection cable
of the antenna.
1) Avoid placing the cabling near moving or hot parts of the vehicle
2) Keep the surfaces clean on which the antenna will be installed.
3) When mounting the antenna on the roof of the vehicle, we recommend an additional glue or
double-faced adhesive tape when mounting the antenna in place. Apply a uniform layer of glue
to the base of the antenna.
4) Attach the antenna base to the area of installation.
5) Allow adequate time for the hardening of the glue.
When installing the GPS antenna to metal surfaces inside the cabin of the vehicle, additional glue is not
necessary.
6.3 INSTALLATION OF GSM ANTENNA
Choose where to install the GSM antenna (Figure 19), taking into account the length of the antenna cable.
FIGURE 19
The GSM antenna must be mounted on a level non-metallic surface inside the vehicle cabin.
The distance from the GSM antenna to any metal surface should be at least 50 mm.
