Examine the
abrasive feed tube
for cracks and moisture. Make sure that the tube is flexible and the walls are
not worn or thin. Replace if needed.
If the
abrasive feed tube
has a small piece of
tubing
[1] at the end, it requires special attention as it is smaller
and subject to the most wear.

NOTE
The short tubing [1] is only required on nozzles that do not have the abrasive tube retention tube (Figure 3).

Connect the
abrasive feed tube
to the
abrasive inlet
or to the
retention tube
on the
nozzle
, then connect the
other end to the
abrasive hopper
.
