Setting Up the Scanner
This section describes the procedure for preparing the HSMT-Compact scanner for
inspection.
To set up the scanner
1.
Connect the probes and any other equipment (a preamplifier, for example) to the
acquisition unit.
2.
Connect the encoder cable to the side of the scanner (carefully align the marks on
the connector), and then connect the other end of the encoder cable to the
instrument (see Figure 2-10 on page 25).
