Verify that the encoders have the desired allocation in the acquisition unit.

Enter the encoder resolution on the acquisition unit. It is recommended to
perform an encoder calibration on both axes to improve the precision.

Conveniently arrange your connections: a suggested arrangement—using Velcro
and cable ties—is shown in Figure 2-43 on page 46.
