Starting Up
Before starting up, you must have read and understood the safety
information. Failure to observe this information could lead to serious physical
injury or damage to the machine.

Connect the machine (2) to the power supply and switch it on using
the power switch (13).
Attention:
Check that the voltage specifications of the machine
correspond to that of your power supply network (220 - 240 V, 50 Hz).
Attention:
The power socket, to which the machine is connected,
must be in close proximity to the machine and easily accessible. This
enables you to disconnect the machine from the power supply quickly
in an emergency.

Open the cover (3) of the paper feed (4).

Move the paper feed roller (14) towards the front by pulling the small
tab (15).

Insert the paper in the paper feed (4) so that the bottom edge lies on
the metal.

Ensure that the paper inserted is positioned accurately. Use the paper
guides (16) to align the paper.
Note:
If the paper is not inserted accurately, it could result in a paper
jam, improperly folded documents or damage to the documents.

Set the required folding style.

Pull the collecting tray (17) sufficiently far out of the metal frame (1) so
that the opening corresponds to the size of the folding style selected.
The folded documents are then automatically stacked in the collecting
tray (17).
