2. Storing PHRASE file
Fo r sto rage of text w ith no ma rg ins. The text
w ill be p rinted a cco rding to the ma rg ins wh ich
a re current ly set when re ca lled.
1 ) Wh ile ho ld ing down the Code Key, p ress the
"5" Key and the des ired f ile name (one o r two
lette rs f rom A to YZ ).
2 ) When you re lease the Code Key, a beep
sounds and the On-l ine Lamp ( red ) beg ins
b linki ng. The automati c ca rrie r return fun ct ion is
automat ical ly a ct ivated.
• Two beeps sound if you spe cify a fi le name
wh ich has a lready been sto red. (Refe r to "Ad
d ing text at the end of f ile" if yo u w ish to add
to f ile . )
• Fou r beeps so und if 50 f iles have a lready been
sto red o r if the memory is fu ll.
3 ) Type in desi red ph rase.
• The Index and Reverse I ndex Keys are not a c
t ive, and the I ndex, Center ing and
de cimal/ cente r/f lush r ight tab fun ct ions cannot
be used wh ile creating a Ph rase fi le.
4) To te rm inate the Sto re mode, ho ld down the
Code Key and p ress the "5" Key. The On- line
Lamp (red ) w ill stop b link in g .
