1. Auto margins
The following auto margins are permanently
stored

When the power is first turned on for the very
first time, the Print Point Indicator moves to the
left auto margin and stops. The carrier moves to
the right as you type and a beep sounds when
the Print Point Indicator is 5 spaces from the
right margin (hot zone). A second beep sounds
if you continue typing at the right margin.
2. To set new margins inside the present
margins
1 ) Move the Print Point Indicator to the desired
position with the Space Ba r or Back Space

2) Press the Left or Right Margin Set Key. A beep
will sound when either margin is set
When you set a new left or right margin. the
respective auto margin is automatically
cleared.
The left and right margins must be at least one
inch apart Obviously, a left margin cannot be
set to the right of the right margin. or a right
margin to the left of the left margin
3. To set new margins outside the present
margins
1) Move the Print Point Indicator to the left or right
margin
2) Press the Margin Release Key
3) Move the Print Point Indicator to the desired
position using the Space Bar or Back Space
