Assembly
This jointer is mostly assembled in the factory. There are a few more steps to complete before the machine
is ready for a test run:
1. Setup control panel.
2. Install battery for digital readout.
3. Inspect / Adjust Jointer Tables (optional).
4. Install cutterhead guard.
5. Connect jointer to a dust collection system.
6. Connect jointer to a power source.
The approximate time for cleaning and assembly is approximately 60 minutes.
Inspect / Adjust Jointer Tables
The jointer tables are calibrated in the factory and should not require adjustments initially. Refer to
section “ Inspect / Adjust Jointer Tables ” on page 40 to perform these steps if needed.
Setup Control Panel
1. To prevent damages, the control panel is
lowered when it is shipped from the factory.
Please follow the instructions to set up the
control panel:
2. Remove all six cap screws from the control
panel post.
3. Raise the control panel to its operational
position, then remount it back to the cabinet.
4. Attach the last two cap screws through the
table adjustment handwheel bracket.
