60 Hz) with B14 type flange.
10
must be connected to electric motors MEC 60 (driving shaft Ø 12 mm).
15
and
16
must be connected to electric motors MEC 71 (driving shaft Ø 14 mm).
The used motors can have a both a clockwise and counterclockwise rotation direction.
2.1.2 20-25
CAUTION
• Before connecting the pump to the motor, place the sealing ring for rotating shaft (supplied
with the pump) on the driving shaft according to the indications of Fig. 6.
These pumps are applied by means of a built-in reduction unit (reduction ratio 1:4.33) to a
special 2-pole electric motor (with special toothed shaft and flange whose features can be
supplied by the Producer) (50/60 Hz).
The used motors must necessarily have a counterclockwise rotation direction (seen from the
pump side).
2.2 CONNECTION TO TWO-STROKE EXPLOSION ENGINE
(ONLY 16, 20-25)
CAUTION
• Before connecting the pump to the motor, place the sealing ring for rotating shaft (supplied
with the pump) on the driving shaft according to the indications of Fig. 6.
2.2.1 16
This pump is applied by means of a built-in reduction unit (reduction ratio 1:3.25) to a special explo-
sion motor (with special toothed shaft and flange whose features can be supplied by the Producer).
2.2.2
20-25
This pump is applied by means of a built-in reduction unit (reduction ratio 1:6.75) to a special explo-
sion motor (with special toothed shaft and flange whose features can be supplied by the Producer).
2.3 CONNECTION TO FOUR-STROKE EXPLOSION ENGINE (ONLY 16, 20-25)
2.3.1 16
This pump is applied by means of a built-in reduction unit (reduction ratio 1:3.25) to a explosion
with SAE J609a flange and 3/4” shaft.
2.3.2 20-25
In case of engines with 3/4” shaft and SAE J609a flange, these pumps are applied by means of
a built-in reduction unit with a reduction ratio of 1:4.33); in case of engines with 5/8” shaft, the
built-in reduction unit has a reduction ratio of 1:6.75.
2.4 CONNECTION TO PULLEY OR 1”3/8 POWER TAKE-OFF (ONLY 20-25)
CAUTION
• Protect the moving parts with suitable protections.
• The pump must work at a rotation speed included between 400 and 650 r.p.m.
• The pump must be fixed by means of the feet on a stable base.
The pulley of the 1”3/8 cardan shaft (supplied upon request) are fixed on a shaft Ø 17 with tang.
2.5 HYDRAULIC CONNECTION
Observe the connection instruction reported on paragraph 5.2 of the first part.
In particular, the sizes of the suction circuit must not determine a maximum pressure value of 0
bar and minimum value of 0.25 bar on the suction pipe.
