For what follows, refer to Fig. 7 and 8:
a) Zero the delivery pressure in the following way:
- completely rotate handle (9) of the adjusting valve in counterclockwise direction
(
only 10-15
);
- rotate up to the third notch handle (9) of the adjusting valve in counterclockwise direction
(
only 16
);
- operate on the lever (6) by moving it towards the left to bring it in “by-pass” position
(
only 20 and 25
).
b) Activate the pump to prime it.
c) Operate on the lever (6) by moving it towards the right to bring it in “pressure” position
(
only 20 and 25
).
d) Rotate handle (9) as necessary until you reached the wished pressure (by rotating in clockwise
direction, pressure increases; by rotating in counterclockwise direction, pressure decreases).
WARNING
• To allow a fast pump priming, operate as per point a) each time the pump is emptied from the
fluid.
• During the first operation hours it is advisable to check the oil level and, if necessary, reset the
level by following the indications on paragraph “PRELIMINARY CHECKS”.
6. STOPPING AND WINTER DECOMMISSIONING
6.1 STOPPING
CAUTION
• Carry out the operations relating to stopping recommended by the producer of the machine
with the built-in pump.
No part of the pump must be moving and no pipe must have fluid under pressure.
a) Eliminate the delivery pressure as described in point a) of paragraph “COMMISSIONING”.
b) Stop the pump.
6.2 WINTER DECOMMISSIONING
CAUTION
• Carry out the operations relating to winter decommissioning recommended by the producer
of the machine with the built-in pump.
WARNING
• By referring to the use and maintenance manual of the machine with the built-in pump, after the
use carry out a cleaning cycle by making the pump suck clean water. Never decommission the
pump with the sucked fluid inside.
• The pump is sensitive to frost.
In order to avoid the formation of ice inside the pump, it is possible to make the pump suck a
car anti-frost liquid before stopping it and then empty it by running it for some minutes without
sucking any fluid.
