5.1 PRELIMINARY CHECKS
CAUTION
• Carry out the preliminary checks recommended by the producer of the machine with the built-
in pump.
• Check that all delivery pipes are closed or connected to users in closed position (for instance,
closed tap or spray gun in closed position).
• Do not overcome in any case the maximum value of inflating pressure for the accumulator
indicated in the following table.
a) Check that with pump at a standstill the oil level does not overcome the reference notch which
is present on the case or is not below it for more than 2÷3 mm (see also Fig. 5). In this way,
during the operation, the level will reach a correct value.
Remember that the oil level must be always checked with pump at a standstill and completely
cooled down.
For possible filling, refer to the types of lubricants reported in the paragraph “FEATURES
AND TECHNICAL DATA”.
b) Check the correct inflation of the pressure accumulator by means of a common gun for com-
pressed air and pressure gauge of the type which is used to check the inflating pressure of
tyres (only
20
and
25
).
The inflation depends on the pressure field in which the pump will operate according to what
reported in the following table:
WARNING
• In the applications in which the pump is driven by a cardan shaft, avoid pushes on the pump
shaft due to an incorrect cardan use (poor greasing of the sliding parts, rotating angles not
compatible with the type of used cardan).
• Carry out the scheduled checks of the ordinary maintenance with special reference to the ones
relating to oil.
• Let a Skilled Engineer carry out the check scheduled for the extraordinary maintenance.
5.2 HYDRAULIC CONNECTION
CAUTION
• Do not connect to the drinkable water network.
• All the pipes must be fixed with clamps to the relevant connectors.
For the suction, delivery and by-pass hydraulic connections, refer to Fig. 4 that shows a general
scheme of a possible machine with the built-in pump and to the following table:
