Glass Photo Tool (Optional)
•
If the unit is equipped with the Glass Photo Tool Option you will have a
third vacuum pump installed in the bottom of the unit..
•
See section Vacuum Pumps and section Tubing/Fitting Replacement for
vacuum problems.
•
The vacuum pump used for the glass tool is independent of the integrator
and is used to hold the art work to the glass tool. The operation of the
pump is controlled by the buttons on the left front on the nose of the unit.
•
The button labeled *xpump must be pressed to turn on the vacuum pump.
•
Once the pump has been turned on then the button for the upper tool or
lower tool can be pressed to activate the respective solenoid in order to
hold the art work to the glass tool.
•
Several different glass tools are available according to customer needs
so each tool itself is going to be different, however the electrical wiring
and operation is the same.
