Connecting directly with this machine (AP mode)

Automatic connection (push button)
If the wireless device (computer, tablet, smartphone, etc.) supports WPS-PBC (push button),
you can connect it to this machine using the WPS button.
Follow the procedure below to connect.

Check the position of the WPS button in the User's Manual enclosed with
the wireless terminal.

Turn on power of the machine.
• For details on how to turn on the power, refer to
"Turning the power on" (Page 33)

When "SETUP WIRELESS?" is displayed, select [NO].

» several times to display [WIRELESS(AP MODE)
SETTING], and then press «OK».

Input the password when [ENTER PASSWORD] is displayed.

The default password is "999999".

After you have input the password, press «OK».

When "IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO USE WIRELESS(INFRASTRUCTURE) AT THE
SAME TIME. PLEASE BE DISABLED IF THE WIRELESS(INFRASTRUCTURE)
IS ENABLED.
PRESS OK" appears, press «OK».

When [WIRELESS(AP MODE)] is displayed, press «

[ENABLE], and then press «OK».

When "DO YOU WANT TO DISABLE THE WIRELESS(INFRASTRUCTURE) AND
ENABLE THE WIRELESS(AP MODE)?/[OK]:YES [BACK]:NO" is displayed,
press «OK».

» several times to display [AUTOMATIC SETUP
(PUSHBUTTON)], and press «OK».

Select [YES], and press «OK».

Start WPS-PBC (push button) on your wireless device (computer, tablet,
smartphone, etc.).
Once the setup completion screen is displayed, it indicates that the connection to the
wireless LAN access point is completed.
