CHAPTER 3 - MAINTENANCE / REPAIR PROCEDURES

Pioneer PJX Series Service Manual 

3.  Draft shield models – Remove the top panel: lift its plastic handle and slide it forward. 

 

4.  Draft shield models – Remove the side doors: remove the plastic cap screw and the plastic 

handle from the side glass; Slide the glass away backward. 

 

5.  Draft shield models – Remove front and back panels: Unscrew 4 screws on the top frame, 

gently lift frame up a little bit to take out the front and back glass. 

 

6.  Remove the Pan, Pan Support and Wind Ring as required. 

 

7.  After completing the preliminary steps, turn the balance over and remove three screws on the 

bottom housing and one screw under the sliding tab at rear of bottom housing.
