Maintenance

Rupture Disk

If the pump is running but no pressure is building in the test cell, this may

indicate that the rupture disk has blown. To replace the rupture disk:
1. Make sure there is no pressure on the system.

2. Set the “PRESSURE” switch to “OFF”.

3. Turn the Water Supply valve to “DRAIN”.

4. Each cell has its own rupture disk. These are located just inside the side

panel next to the heating jacket. Remove the side panel.

5. Disconnect the plumbing from all three ports on the rupture disk housing.

6. Remove the rupture disk and replace it with a new one.

7. Reconnect the plumbing lines to the ports on the rupture disk housing.
